The Letters Apple Never Shipped
Open a 1990s Vietnamese document from a classic Mac disk in anything modern and quán becomes qu·n. The bytes are identical; the font changed. Apple never shipped a Vietnamese encoding, so we went looking for the fonts, and for anyone who still has them.
